Built-in Ports

The G586IPV system board is equipped with two serial ports, one parallel
printer port, one FDD connector, two IDE hard disk shrouded headers and
one PS/2 mouse connector. Refer to page 12 for the locations of the built-in
connectors and pin 1 of those connectors.

Serial Ports

The built-in serial ports are RS-232C asynchronous communication ports with
16C550A-compatible UARTs that can be used with modems, serial printers,
remote display terminals, and other serial devices. They use the following
system I/O addresses:
