Operating instructions

BEFORE PUTTING INTO OPERATION
1) BATTERY CHARGING
A battery that is new or has not been used for a longer period does
not develop its full capacity until after several charging / discharging
cycles.
A significantly reduced working period after charging indicates that
the batteries are used and must be replaced.
2) TO REMOVE OR INSTALL BATTERY PACK
Locate latches on side of battery pack and depress both sides to
release battery pack from your saw. Remove battery pack from
your saw. After recharge insert the battery pack into saw's battery
port. A simple slip and slight pressure will be sufficient.
1
ON/OFF SAFETY SWITCH (See Fig.A)
Your switch is in a locked off position to prevent inadvertant
starting. Press the lock-off (4) followed by the on/off switch (7)
and release the lock-off button. To switch 'off' just release the
switch. The switch is a variable speed trigger which can be used to
increase the speed of the saw blade.
2
BLADE FITTING (See Fig.B)
Pull the Blade clamp release lever, insert the blade shank into the
blade clamp through the blade guard until it stops. Ensure the
small hole in the blade is on the pin in the clamp then release the
lever. Pull up on blade to make sure that it is locked in. To remove a
blade, carry out these instructions in reverse order.
