OPERATIONS WITH HANDIFOX.

Not all screens in HandiFox require the use of a
scanner.
For those screens which do accept scanner inputs, like Inventory/Item List, a
Connect command is sent by HandiFox. If the scanner is in the Connectable mode (blue
light flashing), it will acknowledge the Connect command with a high pitched beep. The
scanner can then be used to scan barcodes for data entry. When the screen is exited,
the scanner will acknowledge with a lower pitched beep and be back in the Connectable
mode with the blue light flashing. After 2 minutes, the scanner reverts back to sleep
mode and must be reactivated by scanning the Make Discoverable and Connectable
barcode or pressing the small button.
The time to go to sleep can be changed by
scanning a code on this table.
