Cleaning and Replacing the Air Filter

Your projector includes an air filter to ensure the best performance. If dust collects on the air
filter, clean it as described below. Dust clogs prevent proper ventilation and cause overheating
and damage to the projector.
You can replace the air filter while the projector is mounted to the ceiling, if necessary. The
illustrations here show the projector placed on a table.
1. Press the Ppower button on the projector twice or the
control and wait for the power light to stop flashing. The projector cools down.
2. Unplug the power cord.
3. Pull the air filter holder straight out to remove it.
4. Remove the air filter as shown.
5. Gently tap both sides of the air filter against a hard surface four or five times to remove
loose dust from the air filter.
