Socket for diagnosis
A socket, connected to the ignition system and
located on the L.H. side of the engine compart-
ment (see fig. 61), is available for connection of
diagnostic unit; it will be employed, when ne-
cessary, to check advance curve and trace cy-
linder misfire.
SPARKING PLUGS
- Type: CHAMPION A-6 G or A-5YC
or Bosch X-4CS or XR-4CS
- Diameter and thread pitch 12x1 ,25 mm.

Prior to fitting the plugs make sure that their
threads are lightly coated with graphite grease.
If the sealing washer is new, first tighten to a
maximum torque of 15 ft Ibs, then slacken and
retighten to 12 ft Ibs.

Prima del montaggio sui motore avere cura di
lubrificare sempre la parte filettata con grasso
grafitato. Se la guarnizione
e
nuova, eseguire
una prima chiusura di assestamento a kpm 2 in
seguito allentarla nuovamente e richiudere a
1,6 kpm
