Starting position:
– Transport locking pin pulled out.
– Sawhead fully raised.
– Deactivate cutting depth limiter.
– Motorhead in vertical (90) position,
bevel tilt locking lever tightened.
– Track arm not extended.
– Lock screw of the track arm loos-
ened.
Cutting the workpiece:
1. Loosen the lock screw (79) of the
rotating table (78) and disengage
the table lock lever (77).

2. Set to desired angle.

Note:
The rotating table engages in positive
stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 30° and 45° po-
sitions.
3. Tighten the rotating table's locking
screw.
4. Cut workpiece as detailed under
"Standard cross cuts".

Bevel Cuts

Note:
A bevel cut cuts the workpiece at an
angle to the vertical.

Cutting the workpiece:
1. Loosen the ratchet lock lever (80)
for sawhead tilt at the rear of the
saw.
2. Tilt the motorhead slowly into the
desired position.
3. Tighten the sawhead tilt locking le-
ver.
4. Cut workpiece as described under
"Standard Cross Cuts".

Compound Mitre Cuts

Note:
The compound mitre cut is a combina-
tion of mitre and bevel cuts.This means
the workpiece is cut at an angle other
than 90° against the rear guide edge
and against its surface.
A
Danger!
When cutting compound mitres the saw
blade is much more exposed than nor-
mally – increased risk of injury. Always
keep sufficient distance to the saw
blade.

Grooving

Note:
Together with the track arm, the cutting
depth limiter makes grooving possible.
With grooving no parting cut is made,
but the workpiece is cut to a certain
depth only.
