To fix a VTech 15750 that has stopped working and only produces a hum with no dial tone, try the following steps:
1. Ensure the telephone base is plugged into a working electrical outlet not controlled by a wall switch. 2. Confirm the power is on and the base is properly connected. 3. Place the cordless handset in the base for one minute to allow synchronization. 4. Move the handset closer to the base in case it is out of range. 5. Reset the base by unplugging the power for 15 seconds, then plugging it back in. Wait one minute for it to reset. 6. Check for interference from other electronic devices and move the phone away from them. 7. Disconnect the telephone base from the telephone jack and test a different phone. If there is still no dial tone, the issue may be in the wiring.

Questions and answers
Hi, Our 15750 has stopped working. No dial tone just a hum. How do we fix this?
