CARE iNSTRUCTiONS
Most oven doors contain glass that can break.
Read the
followincj
recommendations:
Do not close the oven door until aii the interior oven
racks are fully inserted
and retracted
to the back of the
oven.
Do not hit the cjlass with pots_ pans_ or any other object.
The oven door cjlass may break or even break at a later
time unexpectedly.
Scratchincj_ hittincj _jarring
or stressing the oven door
cjlass may weaken
its structure causincj an increased
risk
of breakacje
at a later time.
You may use a cjiass cleaner
on the outside of the oven
door cjiass. Do not spray
or allow water or the cleaner
to enter or drip down into the oven door vents. Spray
cleaner
on cloth first and then wipe the oven door clean.
DO
not use strong oven cleaners_ powders
or any harsh
abrasive
cleaning
materials
on the outside of the oven
door or glass.
Never
clean the oven door gasket. The oven door
gasket should always
clean durincj the Self-clean
cycle.
CHANGING
LOWER OVEN LIGHTS
*
Be sure the appliance
is unpiucjcjed
and oil parts are
COOL
before repiacincj
oven licjht. Wear
a leather-faced
cjiove for protection
acjainst possible broken cjiass or
burns.
The oven iicjht bulbs are located
at the rear of the oven
cavity
and are covered
with a cjiass shield. The cjiass shield
must be in place whenever
the oven is in use.
Replacing
the lower oven interior
light bulbs:
1.
Turn electrical
power off: at the main source or unpiucj
the appliance.
2.
Remove lower oven interior
iicjht shield by turning
a
quarter
turn counter-clockwise.
3.
Replace bulb with a new T=4 type 40 Watt Halogen
appliance
bulb.
Please note: do not allow your fingers to touch the new bulb
when replacincj.
This wiii shorten the life of the new bulb.
Use a paper towel to cover the new bulb when instaiiincj.
4.
Replace cjiass shield over bulb by rotafincj clockwise.
5.
Turn power back on acjain at the main source (or piucj
the appliance
back in).
6.
The clock wiii then need to be reset.
