Terminal Position
A Below gutters, soil pipes or drain pipes
B From a door, window or air vent
C Above ground, flat roof or balcony level
D Below eaves or balconies
E From an internal or external corner
F From a terminal facing the terminal
G From a surface facing the terminal
H Vertically from a terminal on the same wall
I Horizontally from the terminal on the same wall
J Directly below an opening, air brick, window, etc.
K From a vertical drain pipe or soil pipe
L From a vertical structure on the side of the terminal
These are minimum dimensions and are only quoted as a guideline but they will
satisfy the requirements of all UK Building regulations.
Where the flue terminal is within 1 metre of any plastic material, such material
should be shielded from the effects of the combustion products of the flue.
