Part 1 - General Safety Information

31
This boiler is approved for indoor installations only and is not
32
intended for use as a pool heater. Clearance to combustible
32
materials: 0" top, bottom, sides, and back. Left side has all
32
boiler mechanical connections. Boiler must have room for
32
service: 24" front is minimum recommended service clearance.
32
(A combustible door or removable panel is acceptable front
32
clearance.) This boiler has been approved for closet installation
33
and installation on combustible flooring. Do not install directly on
33
carpeting. Install the boiler in a location where temperature and
33
pressure relief valve discharge or a leak will not result in damage
33
to the surrounding area. If such a location is not available, install
33
an auxiliary catch pan. Use only Category IV vent systems.
34

FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE GUIDELINES ON THIS PAGE

SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY, OR DEATH.
40
NOTE: If the boiler is exposed to the following, do not operate.
40
Immediately call a qualified service technician.

42
DO NOT USE THIS BOILER IF ANY PART HAS BEEN
42
SUBMERGED IN WATER. Immediately call a qualified
43
service technician. The boiler MUST BE replaced if it has been
43
submerged. Attempting to operate a boiler that has been
43
submerged could create numerous harmful conditions, such as
43
a potential gas leakage causing a fire and/or explosion, or the
44
release of mold, bacteria, or other harmful particulates into
44
the air. Operating a previously submerged boiler could result in
