6. Tighten knob bolts B for the braces attached to the
rear legs.

7. Check the surrounding area, and then turn over the
SP-280 without hitting anything.

Adjusting front leg clearances to floor

Follow the procedure below to finely adjust the clearances
between the front legs and the floor within 3 mm.
1. Turn either the left or right front leg counterclock-
wise (direction of arrow 1) a little at a time to adjust
the clearance between the front leg and the floor.
2. Hold the adjusted leg so it does not turn, and then
turn the adjuster at the top of the leg clockwise (di-
rection of arrow 2) until it is firmly secured.

Check after installation

• Are any parts left over?
If any parts are left over, carefully review the assembly
procedure to see where those parts should have been
used.
• Make sure that all screws are tight.
Installing optional pedal unit (sold sepa-
rately)
If you purchased pedal unit, continue by installing the
pedal unit.
Make sure that the power of the unit is turned off when
connecting the pedal unit to it.
Connect the pedal cord to the connector on the underside of
the unit and fasten it with the cord holder
Be sure to connect the pedal cord with the connector in the
correct orientation.
Hold the locking tab while inserting or removing the ped-
al cord.
