Setting the Auxiliary Data Field Display
(XM only)
The XM Auxiliary Data Field (ADF) display can be switched on or off.
There is no ADF function for the SIRIUS receiver.

Press and hold
F/SETUP
for at least 2 seconds to
activate the SETUP selection mode.

Turn the Rotary encoder to select the XM mode,
and then press
Q,.IENT.

OFF, and then press

When setting to ON, Auxiliary Data Field is displayed by
pressing VIEW (refer to the "Changing the Display" section
on page 25.).

for at least 2 seconds to
return to normal mode.
• Pressing
~IESC
returns to the previous SETUP mode.
• If no operation is performed for 60 seconds, SETUP is canceled.

USB memory (Optional)
Controlling USB memory (Optional)
A USB memory device may be connected to this unit. With a USB
memory device connected to this unit, the audio files will be playable
from this unit.
• The controls on this unit for USB memory operation are operative
only when a USB memory is connected.
Playing MP3/WMA/AAC Files with the
USB memory (Optional)
If you connect a USB memory device containing MP3lWMNAAC.
these files are playable on this unit.

• The root folder is displayed as "ROOT" in the Folder Name Search
mode.
• This unit plays back files in the USB memory with the same controls
and modes as playback of CDs containing MP3IWMAlAAC. For
details, refer to "CDIMP3IWMAlAAC" on pages 10 to 13.
• Before disconnecting USB memory. be sure to change to another
source or set to pause.
• The playback time may not be correctly displayed when a VBR
(Variable Bit Rate) recorded file is played back.
