The nebulizer chamber should be washed with distilled water after each use. The nebulizer
chamber should be disinfected with normal medical disinfectants such as Buraton 10F as in
the DGHM list.
Note: If non-colour-fast protective wrap is used the plastic parts can become discoloured.
Note: The nebulizer chamber, the nebulizer chamber lid, the continuous filling kit and the
hoses are consumable items. The material they are made of will wear at a greater or
lesser rate depending on the cleaning process used. Before each use, check that all
parts are in good condition. If damage is seen they should be replaced.

Replacement of transducer

Carefully screw on the transducer to the correct tightness. If it is screwed on too loosely,
fluids can escape through the thread; if made too tight, the thread of the plastic chamber
is damaged by cracking due to stress.

Replacement of bacterial filter

- The bacterial filter has to be changed once a week or according to the filter manufacturer.
- If you use a closed sterile water system please change the filter 48 hours after use or every
14 days.
- The bacterial filter has to be changed immediately after contact with water or other
noticeable problems (colour change, breakage, bacteria etc)

Cleaning the single / multiple-use hoses

Multiple-use hoses must be suitably cleaned daily or with change of patient. Single-use
