6. ECO-SOL MAX ink model: Installing the Ink Cartridges

Filling with Ink for the First Time

Special procedures are required in installing ink cartridges for the first time. These procedures are required
only once when ink cartridges are installed for the first time after shipment from the factory. You first need to
clean the print heads using cleaning fluid and then fill with the inks of the respective colors. This operation
requires two SOL INK cleaning cartridges and six dummy cartridges.
*For SOL INK cartridges and ink cartridges, be sure to use new ones.
*Never, under any circumstances, use anything other than the specified type of ink or cleaning fluid.
