Preparation before Operations

STEP 1: Checking the Package Contents

This kit contains the following items. Make sure they are all present and accounted for.
Items used during ink switching
Cleaning sticks
Felt wiper (1)
Items used after ink switching (not used during ink switching)
Cleaning liquid (1)
(dedicated for use with MAX 3 ink)
* Use one wiper and one felt wiper during the ink switching operation. Use the other wiper and felt wiper as replacements
at a later time.

STEP 2: Checking the Replacement Cartridges

The required numbers of ink cartridges and cleaning cartridges during ink filling are shown in the following table. Check
that the necessary number of cartridges are available.
* You must prepare the replacement ink yourself. (MAX 2 ink is required for the white ink and metallic silver ink.)
* This table indicates the maximum number of required cartridges. You may need less cartridges than indicated below.

* When using seven colors (CMYKLcLmLk), the cleaning cartridge dedicated for ECO-SOL MAX 2 ink (ESL4-CL) is necessary,
