5. Dashes appear in the display.
•
Check sensor or extension cable connections. Try
another sensor or extension cable.
6. ERR followed by a number appears on the display.
•
Record the number and provide that information to
qualified service personnel or Nellcor's representative.
7.
N-20P: PR ERR is displayed during the self-test.
•
The printer is not operational, but the N-20P unit will
obtain measurements normally. Contact qualified
service personnel or Nellcor's representative to repair
the printer.
8.
N-20P: Time or date is incorrect.
•
The real-time clock may be malfunctioning. Reset the
time and date. If the problem persists, contact qualified
service personnel or Nellcor's representative.
9. N-20P: Printer paper advances but does not print.
•
The paper may be improperly loaded (e.g., the wrong
side of the thermal paper may be facing up).
10. N-20P: Print is too light.
•
Contact qualified service personnel or Nellcor's
representative to have the print intensity adjusted.
11. N-20P: Paper jams.
a.
If the paper jams first try to pull the paper out by
gently pulling and wiggling it back and forth. If the
paper tears more, stop.
b. If the N-20P is on, press the "ADV" button on the top of
the instrument and repeat step a.
