Inserting the needle

All instructions and regulations in this manual must be observed. Special
attention must be given to all safety regulations!
All setting-up work must only be done by personnel with the necessary training.
For all setting-up work the machine must be isolated from the power supply by
turning off the on/off switch or removing the machine plug from the electric po-
wer socket!

The choice of needle depends on the version of the machine and the sewing
thread and material in use (see Chapter 3, Specifications).

Only use needles of system 134-35.

Set needle bar at top position and loosen
screw 1.
Push needle 2 fully in (the long needle
groove must face to the left).
Tighten screw 1 again.
Switch off the machine!
Danger of injury due to
unintentional starting of the
machine!
