IMPORTANT: If the propeller cannot be removed easily, hold one
blade and use a rubber mallet to lightly tap the backside of the
opposite blade. If the propeller cannot be removed, refer to
Troubleshooting.
NOTE: If the propeller pin is bent, replace the propeller pin.

INSTALLING THE PROPELLER
1. Rotate the motor shaft to insert the propeller pin horizontally.
2. Install the propeller onto the motor shaft by engaging the
propeller onto the propeller pin.
3. Install the propeller nut. Tighten securely.
4. Use a MotorGuide propeller wrench or pliers to tighten the
propeller nut another ¼ turn.

Great White Saltwater Models Only

Corrosion on the metal components of the trolling motor occurs when
two or more metals that are dissimilar are brought into electrical
contact underwater.
The use of a sacrificial anode causes all of the other metals on the
trolling motor to become the cathodes. The anode will corrode and
the trolling motor will not.
Maintenance: If excessive corrosion occurs, replace the anode.
