2, 4 or 6-channel audio mode

The mainboard supports a 6-channel audio output (2 Front, 2 Rear, 1 Centre and 1 Subwoofer
channel). This makes it possible to connect 4 or 6 loudspeakers, and therefore to achieve a better
surround-sound effect.
Drivers
A corresponding driver must be installed for the 2, 4 or 6-channel audio mode. If the drive is not
installed yet, proceed as described in the chapter "Add-on modules / Upgrading", in the section
"Drivers".
Connecting loudspeakers
The number of loudspeakers connected should match the number of audio channels you select in
the driver software.
Using external audio connections
Depending on driver version and operating system the functions may differ from this
i
presentation. If necessary, further information is provided in the respective help system of
drivers and software.
