SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE

make certain adjustments and modifications that may reduce engine

smoothness under certain operating conditions. Any minor
inconvenienc~,
that might be caused by these adjustments is more than outweighed by
the fundamental objective of IMPROVING OUR ENVIRONMENT.

The emissions control systems in your
l
1975 Ford-Built vehicle have been de-
signed to reduce the level of crankcase, exhaust and evaporative pollutants
as required by regulations. Changes in vehicle operation or performance,
such as the typical symptoms and causes listed on follOwing chart may
indicate increased levels of emissions and a need for vehicle service.
However, some causes for increased emission levels may not be detectable
by the driver, making it especially important to adhere to the scheduled
maintenance services to ensure proper control of vehicle pollutants and to
keep your emissions systems warranty in effect.
