Dark Mode

Dark Mode allows you to turn OFF the LEDs on the WRSM.
IMPORTANT:
When the WRSM is in Dark Mode and muted state, all
indications will be turned OFF.
To activate the Dark Mode feature, follow the steps below:
Procedure:

Press and hold the Tasklight Button until Dark Mode is ON. The
Tasklight will blink for 1 second upon entering/exiting Dark Mode.

Refer to Table 2.7 below for the Dark Mode Indicators.
NOTE:
To disable the Dark Mode feature, press the Tasklight Button
for 3 seconds.
IMPORTANT:
The WRSM will automatically enable or disable all
LEDs on the WRSM based on the Surveillance Mode
configuration of channels used on the APX Portable
Radio only.

NOTE:
All three LEDs (Power Indicator, Audio Indicator & Tasklight)
blink for 1 second and off at the same time when turning ON/
OFF the Dark Mode.

Radio Switching

When the radio channel is switched, the WRSM prompts "Radio One" or
"Radio Two" and attempts to reconnect to the last radio connected to
that channel. After power off, the WRSM keeps the channel memory
and eventually power up on the same channel the next time.
NOTE:
Radio Switching feature must be activated in APS tool.
Talk Permit Tone Suppression
This feature allows you to mask the talk permit tone from feeding back
into the TX stream. This feature must be used together with a
compatible Mobile Microphone Gateway and it can be configured using
the APS tool.
IMPORTANT:
Speech during the Talk Permit Tone might be truncated.

Secondary Receiver Audio Accessory

When a secondary accessory is plugged into the audio jack, audio will
be routed through secondary accessory
Attaching Secondary Receiver Audio Accessory
Lift up the dust cover and rotate 90
slot. Insert the secondary receiver audio accessory to 3.5 mm audio
jack.
