Carry out test operation when starting up a new sewing

machine for the first time, or when restarting the sewing

machine after a long period of non-use.
1. Remove the rubber caps
the face plate, and apply an ample amount of Brother-
specified oil (Nisseki Sewing Lube 10) to the arm and to
the rear of the machine in the places indicated by the
arrows.
2. Install the face plate.
3. Lift up the presser foot and presser bar lifter.
4. Run the sewing machine at normal sewing speed (2,000
rpm), and look through the oil gauge window
that the oil is being circulated.
Führen Sie bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme einer neuen
Nähmaschine oder bei Wiederinbetriebnahme nach einer
längeren Stillstandzeit zuerst den Probebetrieb aus.
1. Entfernen Sie die Gummikappen
Arms und nehmen Sie die Stirnplatte ab und tragen Sie
am Arm und an der Maschinenrückseite an den mit
Pfeilen markierten Stellen eine ausreichende Menge des
von Brother vorgeschriebenen Nähmaschinenöls
(Nisseki Sewing Lube 10) auf.
2. Bringen Sie die Stirnplatte wieder an.
3. Heben Sie den Stoffdrückerfuß und den Stoffdrückerfuß-
heber an.
4. Lassen Sie die Nähmaschine mit normaler Drehzahl
(2.000 /min) laufen und kontrollieren Sie anhand des
Ölsichtglases
Effectuer un essai de fonctionnement lorsqu'on fait
fonctionner une nouvelle machine à coudre pour la
première fois, ou lorsqu'on réutilise la machine à coudre
après l'avoir laissée inutilisée pendant longtemps.
1. Retirer les capuchons en caoutchouc
0686M du bras et de la plaque frontale, et appliquer une bonne
quantité d'huile spécifiée par Brother (Nisseki Sewing
Lube 10) sur le bras et à l'arrière de la machine aux
endroits indiqués par les flèches.
2. Installer la plaque frontale.
3. Elever le pied presseur et le releveur de barre de pied
presseur.
4. Faire fonctionner la machine à coudre à la vitesse
normale (2.000 tr/mn), et regarder dans la fenêtre de la
jauge d'huile
Realizar la prueba de funcionamiento al arrancar la nueva
máquina de coser por primera vez, o al volver a arrancar
la máquina de coser después de un largo período sin
usarla.
1. Desmontar las tapas de caucho
del brazo y la placa frontal, y aplicar una cantidad
abundante de aceite especificado por Brother (Nisseki
Sewing Lube 10) al brazo y a la parte de atrás de la
máquina en los lugares indicados por las flechas.
2. Instalar la placa frontal.
3. Levantar el prensatelas y el levantador de barra de
prensor.
4. Hacer funcionar la máquina de coser a la velocidad nor-
mal de costura (2.000 rpm), y mirar a través de la mirilla
del medidor de aceite
