Section 8 : Decommissioning t he L avit D ispenser
Before t ransporting t he L avit d ispenser, i t m ust b e d rained o f a ll w ater a nd t he C O2 b ottle
removed.
1. Turn o ff t he w ater s upply t o t he m achine. D ispense a s mall a mount o f s till w ater t o r elieve
the p ressure i n t he i nlet l ine. D isconnect t he w ater i nlet l ine.
2. Remove t he d rip t ray. S et a side f or r epacking.
3. Power O FF t he d ispenser. D isconnect t he P ower C ord.
4. Turn t he d ispenser t o g ain a ccess t o t he r ear C old W ater T ank d rain p lug.
5. Remove t he d rain p lug a nd e mpty t he c old w ater t ank i nto a s uitably s ized b ucket.
6. Replace t he d rain p lug.
7. Turn d ispenser a nd c onnect t he p ower c ord a nd t urn t he P ower O N.
8. Enter t he S ERVICE M ENU a nd s elect W ATER S ETUP.
9. Place t he e mpty b ucket u nder t he w ater d ispense p oint.
10. Locate t he E MPTY S ODA i con o n t he s creen. P ress t he i con u ntil a ll s oda w ater i s d ispensed
into t he b ucket. T he d ispenser w ill d ischarge C O2 g as w hen t he s oda t ank i s e mpty.
11. Turn P ower O FF. D isconnect p ower c ord a nd w rap f or r epacking.
12. Turn t he C O2 r egulator t o t he o ff p osition a nd r emove t he C O2 b ottle. R emove o r s ecure t he
CO2 r egulator f or t ransport.
13. Actuate t he C O2 p urge v alve o n t he r ear o f t he d ispenser u ntil C O2 f low c eases.
14. Repackage t he d ispenser, d rip t ray, p ower c ord, a nd r egulator f or t ransportation.
