Installation I nstructions
1. Ensure t hat t he m inimum w ater i nlet p ressure f rom t he m ains s upply i s 2 8 p si. C onnect t o
the w ater s upply u sing a s tandard t hree w ay v alve c onnected t o a n u nder s ink c old w ater
shut o ff v alve o r c onnect i n a nother a cceptable m anner t o a llow f or ¼ " w ater t ubing t o b e
connected. R un t he t ubing t o t he d ispenser s o t hat t here i s e nough e xcess t ubing t o a llow
movement o f t he d ispenser f or s ervice i n p lace.
2. Properly s ecure t he t ubing w ith a ppropriate f asteners t o m inimize t he p ossibility o f t he
tubing b eing p ulled o ff t he m ains c onnection a nd t o p rovide a n a esthetic i nstallation f or t he
customer.
3. Install t he 4 0 p si p ressure r educing v alve, t he i n l ine c heck v alve, a nd t he s hut o ff v alve o n
the w ater i nlet t ubing. F rom t he m ains c onnection i t i s r ecommended t hat t he s equence i s
the P RV f ollowed b y t he c heck v alve a nd t hen t he s hut o ff v alve. A s a n o ption a s econd s hut
off v alve c an b e i nstalled p rior t o t he P RV t o a llow t he r emoval o f a ll d ownstream
components.
4. Flush t he L avit E CO3 f ilter o utside o f t he d ispenser t o e nsure n o c arbon f ines c an e nter t he
dispenser.
