2. If possible, have someone help
you perform this procedure.
Find the "smart" button on the
garage door opener motor
head unit.
See the manufacturer's or
installer's instructions for the
location.
Press the button.

3. Within 30 seconds, firmly
press and hold the desired
universal transmitter button
until the garage door moves.
The indicator light should
begin to blink slowly.
It may take up to 20 seconds
before you see movement.
4. Release the button when the
device moves.
The indicator light will blink
rapidly until programming is
complete.
5. Press and release the
programmed button.
The device should move to
confirm that programming is
successful.
If additional buttons are to be
programmed, repeat the previous
steps.
USING THE UNIVERSAL
TRANSMITTER
Briefly press and hold the desired
universal transmitter button.
An indicator light will come on
while a signal is being transmitted.
