Color Chart

The Color Chart on the test
strip bottle label shows the
approximate color of a test
strip confirmation dot for
50-mg/dL and 350-mg/dL
results. It also shows the off-
white shade of a new, unused
test strip.
Before a test, compare the
color of the confirmation dot from an
unused test strip to the "Unused" color
dot. If the confirmation dot is darker than
the color dot, do not use the test strip.
After a test, you may check the meter
result by comparing the confirmation dot
to the Color Chart. Do not use the Color
Chart as a replacement for a meter
result.
