    A. ME406 1) The ME406 is a type AF (Automatic Fixed) beacon, which transmits on 121.5 and 406 MHz. 2) The ME406 ELT is enclosed in an impact resistant plastic casing and mounts on a tray made of similar material.

To prevent the cells from being charged, diodes and fuses are connected to the inline power from each cell.
