Please read through these operating instructions carefully. Above all please
observe the safety instructions on the first few pages of these operating
instructions! Please keep these operating instructions for future reference.
Pass them on to any subsequent owner of the appliance.

Instructions
This appliance corresponds to accepted technological standards with regards
to safety and to the Appliance Safety Law. Nevertheless as a manufacturer we
are committed to familiarise you with the following safety instructions:
CHILD SAFETY
• Do not leave the appliance running unattended or let children near the
appliance unsupervised.
• Discard all packaging to avoid the risk of suffocation of children or pets.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Before you connect the appliance, check if the voltage of wall outlet
corresponds to that indicated on the rating plate.
2. If the appliance is provided with an earthed plug, it must be plugged into
an earthed wall socket.
3. Check the cord regularly for possible damage.
4. Do not use the appliance if the main cord, plug, light or the appliance itself
shows visible damage, or the appliance has been dropped or is leaking.
Take it to Electrolux's service center or dealers for examination and repair
in order to avoid a hazard.
5. Do not allow the cord to come into contact with the soleplate when it is
hot.
6. Burns can occur from touching hot metal parts, hot water, or steam. Use
caution when you turn a steam iron upside down - there may be hot water
in the reservoir.
7. Never immerse the iron in water or other liquids. If this has happened, do
not use this appliance any more; dispose of the appliance.
8. Keep the iron out of the reach of children.
9. Do not leave iron unattended while connected or on an ironing board.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
