1. Pivoting the monitor, arrow 1.
The monitor is switched off.
2. Folding the monitor in, arrow 2.
The monitor is folded out by the reverse proce-
dure.

Connecting up headphones
You can connect headphones using a 3.5 mm
or 1/8th inch jack plug or operate them via the
infrared interface.
Ask BMW Service which infrared headphones
are supported by the infrared interface.
When using infrared headphones, take
care not to interrupt the infrared link
between the headphones and the infrared inter-
face. In other words, do not obstruct the line of
sight between them in any way, or cover or
scratch the infrared interface. Adverse light
conditions such as bright ambient light may
interfere with reception.<
