and ensure that the braking effect is not
impaired by moisture.
> Depending on the properties of the road or
track, it may be helpful to activate DTC
briefly, see Dynamic Traction Control DTC
on page 84.
> If the wheels under one side of the car spin,
press the accelerator down far enough to
prompt the driving stability control systems
to distribute the propulsive power appropri-
ately between the individual wheels.
After driving on rough tracks, please observe
the following points, to uphold the safety of your
BMW:
>
Clean coarse dirt off the body.
> Remove mud, snow, ice, etc. from the
wheels and tyres, and check the tyres for
damage.
