    ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING CHARGING THE BATTERY Place the charging stand (1) near a 120 V, 60 Hz electrical outlet (Fig. 1). Plug the battery charging stand plug into a 120 V, 60 Hz wall receptacle. Place the rotary tool (2) into the charging stand.

While holding the spindle lock button down, turn the collet nut counter clockwise until the collet is loose inside the collet nut.
