Configuring Wireless Security Settings

The Wireless Security screen allows you to configure wireless
security settings. To access the screen, click Wireless > Security.

SSID Broadcast
Description
Service Set Identifier (SSID). Broadcasts the
SSID of the access point to devices on your
network. This enables wireless clients, such as
a laptop, to receive the access point's SSID. If
you don't want the SSID to be broadcast,
disable this feature. The default is enabled.
