WARNING:
Always wear safety goggles or safety
glasses with side shields when operating this tool.
Failure to do so could result in dust, shavings,
chips, loose particles, or foreign objects being
thrown in your eyes resulting in possible serious
injury. If the operation is dusty, also wear a face or
dust mask.
TURNING ON/OFF THE GRINDER
See Figure 5.
Follow these steps to turn on/off the grinder.
■ Turn on the grinder —Slide the switch forward until it
locks into place.
■ Turn off the grinder —Depress the back (flat area) of
the switch.

Follow these guidelines when operating the grinder.
■ Always allow the grinder to operate as it was
designed. Never force the tool.
WARNING:
Avoid excessive pressure on the tool
that can bend or break the collet, resulting in
possible serious injury and poor performance.
If the grinder runs smoothly when not under load,
but does not run smoothly under load, then you are
using excessive pressure.
Pressure between the wheel and the work should
never be heavy enough to cause bending or
springing of the collet. This is of particular
importance when using wheels with small collet
diameters.

OPERATION

■ For ease of operation and maintaining proper

WARNING:
Baggy clothes and gloves should not
be worn while operating this product. To avoid
possible serious injury, wear snug-fitting clothes.
