Temperatures given are approximate
and can vary according to ambient
conditions.
To make tea you can select from the
following options:
– Green tea approx. 80 °C
– Herbal tea approx. 90 °C
– Fruit tea approx. 90 °C
– Black tea approx. 90 °C
The type of tea determines the preset
temperature.
The respective dispensing temperatures
are recommended by Miele for making
black tea, green tea, herbal or fruit tea.
The taste of the tea will be affected by
the type of water used. Water should be
as soft as possible to allow the aroma
to develop.
Whether you use loose tea leaves,
blended tea or tea bags depends on
your own personal preferences.
The amount of tea and the brewing time
will vary depending on the type of tea.
Always follow the recommendations of
the manufacturer on the packaging or
of the retailer. The amount of hot water
used can be adjusted depending on the
type of tea and the size of the cup (see
"Portion size").
Tip: Store the tea in a cool, dark place
in tightly sealed containers. It is best to
buy smaller amounts to prevent loss of
aroma.
