The procedure of the Head cleaning might change later.
Note:
Preparation
(1) Make sure that the power is off on the printer for preparation.
(2) Remove the Ink cartridges BC and MY from the printer.
(3) Install the cleaning cartridges IL cartridge BC and MY. Connect the power
cord and the parallel I/F cable to the printer. Then insert a small clip into the
hole for the cover sensor and turn the power on.
Head Cleaning
When refurbishing the MP-21C/CDX, please note that the print
head should be cleaned in accordance with the following
procedure.
The preparation for this refurbishing procedure needs another 1
unit of the MP printer.
This procedure needs 2 sets of each the IL cartridges BC and MY.
The printer having this refurbishing needs to be connected to a
PC running MOBILEPAD.
