PROGRAMMING RX (RECEPTION)
BANDWIDTH
Some frequencies have selectable channel
spacing, which must match other radios for
optimum audio quality.
Once you have chosen the channel you want to
program, short press the PTT button or MENU
to scroll through the options until you reach the
'Bandwidth Programming Mode'. The radio
display will show the current bandwidth setting
as follows:

To program the desired bandwidth (HI = 25 kHz,
LOW = 12.5 kHz), use the
select the value. Long press the PTT button to
exit and save or short press the PTT button to
move to the next programming feature without
saving.
Note:
If the value of the bandwidth cannot be
changed, the display setting remains solid.
PROGRAMMING SCRAMBLE
The scramble feature makes your
transmissions sound garbled to anyone
listening without the same scramble code.
It does not guarantee confidentiality, but it adds
an extra layer of privacy. Scramble default
value is OFF.
