HIGH PRESSURE CUTOUT (HPCO) CONTROL

FUNCTION
Stops the ice machine if subjected to excessive high-
side pressure. The HPCO control is normally closed,
and opens on a rise in discharge pressure.
SPECIFICATIONS.
Cut-Out
440 psig ±10
(3103 kPa ±69 31 bar ±.69)
(Must be below 300 psig (2068 kPa 20.68 bar) to reset.)
SYMPTOM
Opening the HPCO will cause the control board to
initiate a 60 minute delay. The display counts down
from 60 minutes to 0 minutes, at which point the ice
machine attempts a restart. If the HPCO is closed the
ice machine will continue to run. If the HPCO remains
open after the 60 minute delay or reopens when the
compressor starts, the ice machine will start another
60 minute delay period. The ice machine will lockout
after 10 failed attempts.
1. Machine is off and the display indicates
"Delay XX min, HPCO Active"
2. Machine is running and the display indicates
"HPC Fault" and an alert triangle
