System Configuration Setup

If Windows 2000 Server is installed, change the following setting using "PNP/PCI

Configuration" in the Setup menu:

Plug and Play Aware O/S: Yes

Dual BIOS Utility

If two BIOS ROM chips are installed on the motherboard, one is the Main BIOS and the

other the Backup BIOS. The system runs on the Main BIOS under normal conditions.

However, if the Main BIOS is corrupted or damaged, the Backup BIOS automatically

replaces the Main BIOS when the system is powered on.

The Dual BIOS Utility allows you to set up the Dual BIOS.

The following BIOS window displays when you start the server.

To start the Dual BIOS Utility, press F1 when the main BIOS window displays to start the

POST.

NOTE: If you do not press F1, the server starts to load the operating system on

completion of the POST.
