4.2. Navigation, menu access and data entry keys

4.2.1. Navigation keys

Press the navigation keys to move around a menu or to move
the cursor within group.

4.2.2. MENU/OK key

This is used to:
Enter aselected menu.
Save a change.

4.2.3. CANCEL Key

This is used to exit a menu or cancel unsaved changes.

4.2.4. ENTER key

Thus is used to:
Select an option (not a menu).
Add elements to a text stream.

4.2.5. DEL key

This is used to delete an element from a text stream.

4.2.6. Numeric keypad

Keys 0 to 9 are used to enter numerical data.
When the system requires a numerical item of data, the cursor fl ashes on the display.

4.3. Display

The UMX-02/0 has an alphanumeric display of 4 x 20 characters.

4.3.1. Special characters

Character cursor.
Position indicator on navigation menus.
Option active.
Card present and detected.
Card not present or not detected.
Appears when part of a text stream is not visible on the screen.
