ETTINGS
Ethernet Settings
Ethernet Settings are used to configure the LAN and PC ports of
the UT880 for the local area network (LAN). These setting should
be left at default unless there are specific reasons to change them.
The following settings are available:
The LAN port can be enabled or disabled.
The LAN port can be set to DHCP to obtain a network IP
address automatically.
The LAN port can be set to Static so the network IP address can
be manually configured.
The LAN port can be set to use VLAN 2~4094 (default is 1).
The LAN port VLAN priority can be set 0~7.
The PC port can be enable or disabled.
The PC port can be set to use VLAN 2~4094 (default is 1).
The PC port VLAN priority can be set 0~7.
Proxy Settings
Proxy Settings are used when a proxy server is used by the local
area network to route Internet traffic. The proxy server information
must be provided by the local IT department. These setting should
be left at default unless there are specific reasons to change them.
