2 System features

Compared to the previous generation of Dell PowerEdge blade servers, the M820 has more memory,
processor cores and networking options than ever before. Features include DDR3 memory, PCIe 3.0,
a network daughtercard (NDC), dual internal SD module and Dell's next-generation iDRAC solution
known as iDRAC7 Enterprise with Lifecycle Controller.

The PowerEdge M820 is a replacement for the M910 system. Table 2 compares the features of both
