The sound is not heard
If a USB device is connected, try removing it.
The battery level is low. Save your data and power off your computer.
After connecting the AC adaptor or replacing the battery pack with a fully charged
one, turn your computer on.
The battery pack or recharging function may be defective. Quickly remove the
battery pack and disconnect the AC adaptor, then connect them again.
If the problem persists, contact Panasonic Technical Support.
Unable to charge because of an improper temperature range. (

Battery pack is discharging to 65% or below in high temperature mode.
Warming up the system to prevent hard disk drive malfunctions at low temperature.
Has the Setup Utility been used to set [Touch Pad] to [Enable]? (
When mouse drivers are installed (e.g., Intellimouse), the touch pad is unable to be used.
Has the touchpad driver been properly installed?
Has the Setup Utility been used to set [Touch Screen] to [Auto] or [Enable]?

Windows 2000
Confirm that the setting in [Start] - [Programs] - [UPDD] - [Settings] - [Hardware] is
appropriate.
Windows XP
Confirm that the setting in [Start] - [All Programs] - [UPDD] - [Settings] - [Hardware]
is appropriate.
When mouse drivers are installed (i.e. Intellimouse), the touchscreen may at times
be unable to be used. In such cases, reinstall the touchscreen driver. The
touchscreen driver is in [c:\util\drivers\tscreen].
The touchscreen function may not work properly in the following situations. In
such cases, restart the computer by using the keyboard or touch pad.
• When the standby or hibernation function is used immediately after resuming
operation
• When the auto hibernation function is used after entering the standby mode
• When the Fast User Switching function is used
Windows 2000
Adjust [Double Click Settings] in [Start] - [Programs] - [UPDD] - [Settings] - [Windows].
Windows XP
Adjust [Double Click Settings] in [Start] - [All Programs] - [UPDD] - [Settings] - [Windows].
Try changing the mute by pressing Fn + F4 or
When [Your computer cannot be suspended at this time] is displayed before enter-
ing the standby mode, the sound function may cease to operate normally. In such
cases, restart the computer.
Sounds may stop being generated when the standby/hibernation function is used
during the playback with the Windows Media Player. In such cases, restart the
Windows Media Player.
