3. Remove the filler cap and add
properly mixed coolant
through the filler hole.
-AWARNING
Engine coolant is harmful or
fatal if swallowed or inhaled.
Do not drink antifreeze or cool-
ant solution. If swallowed, do
not induce vomiting. Immedi-
ately contact a poison control
center or a physician. Avoid
inhaling mist or hot vapors; if
inhaled, remove to fresh air. If
coolant gets in eyes, flush eyes
with water and seek medical
attention. Wash thoroughly
after handling. Solution can be
poisonous to animals. Keep
out of the reach of children and
animals.
NOTE; Adding only water wil
dilute the engine coolant and
reduce its effectiveness. Add
50:50 mixture of engine coolant
and water.
FINAL GEAR OIL
Change the gear oil as follows:
1. Place the motorcycle on the
side stand.
2. Remove the oil filler cap CD.
3. Drain the oil by removing the
drain plug (2 from the bottom
of the final gear case.
4. Reinstall the drain plug and
tighten it securely after all the
oil has been drained out. Hold
the motorcycle vertically and
pour fresh oil through the filler
hole until the oil level reaches
the oil filer hole. Approxi-
mately 200 - 220 ml (6.8 - 7.4
US oz) of öil will be required.
5. Reinstall the oil filler cap.
