OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS - SIGNATURE COMMAND
1. STOP! Read the safety information above.
2. This appliance is equipped with an ignition device which automatically lights the burner. Do not try to light the
burner by hand.
3. With five (5) minutes to clear out any gas. Then smell for gas, including near the floor. If you smell gas, STOP! Fol-
low "B" in the safety information on page 38. If you do not smell gas, go to next step.
4. Install four (4) "AA" batteries (provided in your Homeowner's Manual bag) into the command center box. Make
sure the batteries orientation match.
5. Press the master switch to the "ON" (-) position. Within eight (8) seconds it will beep once. This indicates the sys-
tem is ready.
6. Press "ON " button. Sparker will spark and pilot flame will light.
7. Once pilot flame is established, the main burner flame will light automatically.
8. If the pilot will not stay lit after several tries, turn the master switch to "OFF" and call your service technician or gas
supplier.
