Transmission

Multi-plate oil bath clutch controlled by a lever on left
handlebar.
Drive is transmitted from engine to gearbox main shaft
via spur gears.
Front sprocket/clutch sprocket ratio:
36/61
6-speed gearbox with constant mesh gears, gear change
pedal on left side of motorcycle.
Gearbox/rear sprocket ratio:
15/48.

and under no circumstances must they be modified.

Authorized Workshop.

For the replacement of the rear sprocket, contact a
Ducati Dealer or Authorized Workshop. The incorrect
replacement of this component could seriously
endanger rider and passenger safety and cause
irreparable damage to the motorcycle.
