2 INTRODUCING the PTR-6A
We woud like to thank you for buying a PTR-6A Pro-Tronik Remote control set.
Up to date and efficient, this set is the perfect addition to your model airplanes and gliders having up
to 6 functions. It is suitable for beginners through an initial purchase as well as the experienced pilot
looking for a second set for the holidays or indoor flight for example.
We recommend that you carefully read this manual before operating your PTR-6A set. You'll be able
to get the best results and to preserve your safety and the life of your models in the practice of your
hobby.
WARNING
An RC model is not a toy and should not be treated as such. It is therefore not suitable for individuals
under the age of 14 years. It instead requires a good understanding of its use and its management.
Do not hesitate to ask for help from an experienced modeller in the club nearest you. Also remember
to collect all the necessary information regarding the laws and regulations.
Your PTR-6A set should be kept away from any source of moisture, excessive heat or cold, chemicals,
saline environments (mist), or any other atmosphere may degrade the operation or reliability in time.
Similarly, special attention should be paid to the absence of shocks.
The flight of a model must always be done on a suitable area, away from trees, powerlines, fences,
houses and individuals.
Batteries must always be loaded correctly before flying session.
A range check must be performed before each flight.
Always check that the pairing of transmitter and receiver is correct.
Always put the throttle to idle before powering the transmitter.
Systematically program a FailSafe (backup) position before the first flight of a model.
Always turn your transmitter ON before powering your model. Always turn OFF your model before
turning your transmitter OFF.
