Mix coarse pea size perlite with
light masonry cement at a ratio of
7:1 (7 perlite, 1 masonry cement).
No sand is needed. Before adding
water, mix ingredients thoroughly.
Slowly add water, bringing mixture
to a potting soil consistency.
