The powerful 2400 W concealed heating element is integrated in the bottom of the kettle to keep it safe from damage. Because of the stainless steal design, the interior of the kettle can be cleaned and decalcified effortlessly.

Page 6: Important Safeguards For Electrical Appliances
• To avoid scalding, always ensure the lid is correctly positioned before operating. Scalding may occur if the lid is lifted while the kettle is hot. • Only use the appliance for heating runny liquids (i.e. water, coffee or tea). Do not use the appliance for cooking other foodstuffs or liquids, that could burn and/or boil over, to avoid overheating and damage to the appliance. -

The dis- play will start off displaying LO but as the temperature of the water rises above 40 degrees, it will display the actual water temperature.

Turning Off the KEEP WARM Mode If you wish to turn off your kettle in the keep warm mode, simply press the KEEP WARM button or lift the kettle off its power base. NOTE: If you remove the kettle from the power base in the KEEP WARM mode, your kettle will automatically switch off. -
Page 12: Removable Scale Filter
Removable Scale Filter The kettle features a removable mesh filter to filter out scale deposits for clearer water. Additionally the filter will prevent boiling water from splashing, when you pour the water. Clean the filter regularly to avoid blockage of the mesh. WARNING: Do not attempt to remove the filter while the kettle is plugged in or hot. -
