TRANSPORTATION SCREWS
ln order
to
protect the
inside of
this unit
from
vibration and shocks
duríng transportation,
the
internal
mechanism
is
fixed
with
transportation screws.
Before using
the
player, remove
the three
transportation screws
located
onthe bottom
panel
byturning
them
counter-clockwise
with
a
crossed or flat-blade screwdriver.
lf
this unit
is
placed
with
the
top
panel
or right-side
panel
down after
the screws
have been removed,
the
internal mechanism
will
fall.
to
place
the
unitwith
the left
side panel
down
and
remove
the
screws
(red
x
3).
Before tilting
the
unit, confirm that no discs
are
inserted
Do not
tilt
this unit
with
discs
left
inside
it,
for this
will
cause
a
malf
unction.
Retain
all screws
as
they
will
be needed
when the un¡t
¡s
to
be
retransported.
Never remove any
screws
other than
the
transportation
screws.
o
When re-transporting this
unit
in
the
future,
remove
all
discs
in
the
playerand closeall
Racks(PageB). Turn off
the POWER STANDBY/
switch
and leave
the
unit in STANDBY mode
for
10
seconds
or
more.
And
then, tighten the
transportat¡on
screws
by
turning
them with
the crossed
or flat-blade
screwdriver clockwise
until
they
stops.
Be careful not to
tighten the screws too firmly.
When tightening
the
screws, place
the unit with
the left
side
panel
down.
