Turn fuel valve to the "On" position
Set switch to the "On" position
Fill crankcase to proper oil level or
place generator on level surface.
Check fuel filter and ensure fuel flow to
carburetor is sufficient. Also check fuel
tank for contaminated or stale fuel,
replace if necessary.
Wait 5 minutes and re-crank engine
Check or replace clogged air filter
Inspect valves and valve clearance
Check condition of spark plug and
ignition coil. Inspect wires to the on / off
switch.
Check solenoid see pg.24
Raise engine speed to rated RPM
Check connected device amperage is
application sufficient
Disconnect shorted electrical device
Check or replace clogged air filter
Ensure carburetor jets are not clogged
